Aniwell Active Manuka Honey

Active Manuka Honey Anhydrous Cream 25% (AMH 25% Cream) has been formulated to provide all the known benefits of Active Manuka Honey in an easy-to-administer form for topical application.
The AMH 25% Cream can be applied directly onto the area requiring care, normally without the need of a dressing to keep the cream in place. Applied directly to the affected area the cream forms a waterproof film over the damaged skin.

Active Manuka Honey contains the unique compound methylglyoxal that provides a special natural antibacterial function able to inhibit many infectious bacteria. Honey has a well established reputation as an antibacterial agent. Its traditional use in many countries has been rediscovered with a unique added effect.

The antibacterial activity of honey is due primarily to  enzymically-produced Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2), but substances in some New Zealand Manuka Honey also produce non-preoxide activity. The antibacterial qualities of Manuka Honey make this a beneficial topical application for controlling bacterial invasion of damaged skin.
