Battles Health In Poultry

Common problems when keeping poultry are similar to keep any other pet, parasites both external and internal alongside general hygiene and nutrition. As with any animal, poultry worming as required is essential. Poultry will also typically suffer at some stage from external parasites such as mites; generally combating a mite problem will require a combined approach which treats both the bird themselves as well as their housing.

Poultry may also require supplementing from time to time depending upon the environment in which they are housed, from general purpose vitamins for poultry or apple cider vinegar for chickens to a more specialised supplement for shell production such as shell aid.
