Horse Rug Accessories: Wash Bags, Shoulder Guards, Hoods & More

Horse rugs can sometimes lead to rubbing and abrasion, potentially causing sore spots on the horse. Using stretch rugs, shoulder guards, and face masks can help reduce this rubbing. Our range of accessories are effective in keeping your horse comfortable whenm they're covered.

Why do horses need shoulder guards and stretch rugs?
Shoulder guards and stretch rugs provide a smooth layer between the horse and the rug, reducing friction and preventing rubbing. This is especially important for horses with sensitive skin or those prone to sore spots.

How do face masks help with horse rug usage?
Face masks protect the horse’s face from flies and other irritants. When combined with a rug, they offer full-body protection, ensuring the horse remains comfortable and irritation-free.

Can these accessories be used with all types of rugs?
Yes, stretch rugs, shoulder guards, and face masks are designed to be versatile and can be used with turnout rugs, stable rugs, fly sheets, and cooler rugs.
