INTRASITE Gel Hydrogel Wound Dressing

INTRASITE Gel is a sterile hydrogel dressing that effectively rehydrates necrotic tissue, promoting autolytic debridement. This gel absorbs exudate and maintains a moist wound environment without preservatives.

Indications:

• Suitable for minor conditions like minor burns, superficial lacerations, cuts, abrasions (partial-thickness wounds), and skin tears.

• Under healthcare professional guidance, it can manage venous ulcers, surgical incisions, diabetic foot ulcers, and pressure injuries (including stage 4).

Contraindications:

• Avoid use on patients with known sensitivity to INTRASITE Gel or its ingredients.

Warnings and Precautions:

• Use with caution near the eyes and in deep wounds with narrow openings.

• For external use only; do not ingest.

Recommended Use:

• Diabetic Ulcers
• Partial-Thickness Wounds
• Pressure Ulcers
• Skin Tears
• Surgical Wounds
• Venous Ulcers

Application:

1. Remove the secondary dressing.
2. Clean the wound site with sterile saline solution.
3. Remove the blue protective cap from the nozzle.
4. Swab the nozzle and tip with an antiseptic swab.
5. Snap off the tip, and gently dispense gel into the wound.
6. Spread INTRASITE Gel to a depth of approximately 5mm.
7. Discard any unused gel.
8. Cover with the preferred secondary dressing.

Removal & Change Frequency:

• Rinse INTRASITE Gel from the wound with sterile saline solution.
• Change the dressing at least every 3 days for necrotic and sloughy wounds.
• For clean granulating wounds, adjust the change frequency based on clinical condition and exudate levels.
