What is it?
Metacam oral suspension for dogs is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which is a
type of painkiller used to reduce pain and inflammation in dogs.

It can be used for both chronic (long-term) musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis, and acute
(sudden and short-lived) musculoskeletal disorders, such as an injury.

Metacam oral suspension for dogs is available in 4 bottle sizes to suit all dog sizes and treatment
lengths: 10 ml, 32 ml, 100 ml and 180 ml.

Metacam helps improve the quality and enjoyment of life for pets with arthritis and is the UK’s No.1
medication for pain and inflammation in dogs (MAT value, Kynetec Sep 2023).

How is it administered?
The oral suspension has a tasty honey flavour and can be given mixed with food or directly into the
mouth, using either the drop dispenser of the bottle (for very small dog breeds) or the measuring
syringe provided in the box.
