Pro-Kolin Advanced is a prebiotic and probiotic for dog's digestive function flavoured with a new and improved liver flavour for dogs. It contains no proteins or common allergens, making it suitable for dogs with known hypersensitivities for gastrointestinal regularity.

Directions:

To dispense the precise product quantity, utilize the convenient wheel located on the syringe plunger. Turn the wheel until it aligns to the right of the number corresponding to the intended dosage (refer to the diagram below for the correct and incorrect positions, specifically for 10ml).

• The product can be mixed with feed or given directly.
• Leave at least one hour after using any medication before using Pro Kolin Advanced.
• Administer orally as deemed necessary. Pro-Kolin Advanced can be given to dogs up to three times daily.
• Usual use 2-3 days but can be given longer.

Ingredients

Prebiotics: Pro-Kolin Advanced includes Preplex® prebiotic, a unique blend of fructo-oligosaccharide (FOS) and acacia (gum arabic) exclusively by Protexin Veterinary. This combination ensures support for beneficial bacteria throughout the digestive tract:

• Proximal colon: FOS remains intact until the colon due to its resistance against digestion in the small intestine. Beneficial bacteria, such as Bifidobacterium spp. and Lactobacillus spp., ferment FOS, leading to their proliferation.
• Distal colon: Acacia gum's complex structure results in its slower fermentation here.

Pectin: A soluble fiber, pectin undergoes rapid fermentation in the colon. Apart from its prebiotic properties, pectin also soothes the gut lining.

Psyllium: This soluble dietary fiber can absorb surplus water in the gastrointestinal tract, leading to a viscous substance. It aids in increasing fecal viscosity, thereby regulating and normalizing intestinal transit time.

Binders: Pro-Kolin Advanced integrates pharmaceutical-grade clay as a binder to promote regular digestive functions. Clays, depending on their type, have distinct absorption and adsorption attributes:

• Absorption: Excess liquid from the gastrointestinal tract integrates into the clay molecule.
• Adsorption: Clays can bind to compounds like bacteria, viruses, and enterotoxins on their outer surface.

A mix of kaolin and montmorillonite ensures an ideal balance of these attributes, offering dual benefits to the animal.

Beta-glucans: Beta-glucans, especially those with a 1,3/1,6 linkage, have been identified to support the innate immune system.
